It’s a beautiful day in Sarasota – especially because it started oh, so nicely. Last night, I received an email that made my day. The email was a simple inquiry: “Is your original Quadris 9 painting still available to purchase?”
It turns out that the sender and his wife had visited friends at Pelican Cove back in January. “Quadris 9” was then showcased during one of our art shows. Interestingly, after the show, I thought it had gotten lost, because I couldn’t find it. A friend and I even joked that maybe someone had stolen it – she said, “Don’t worry, evidently someone needed it more than you.”
Fast forward to the present, and the email. It was from a couple who visited Pelican Cove in January, during one of our art shows (we have several during the season). They had seen “Quadris 9” during the art show and couldn’t stop thinking about it. My artwork has stayed in their minds and hearts, the sender admitting that he had been thinking about it ever since. Now, two months later, they’ve decided to purchase the painting.
And this morning their payment just arrived, great starting to the day, isn’t it? So, I am sending “Quadris 9” to its new forever home.
Thank you to all my supporters for believing in my art and encouraging me on this creative journey. Your kind words and enthusiasm mean the world to me.
